Outdoor Living in Lexington, KY

November 11, 2024

Our team at Boone Contracting recently completed an outdoor living transformation in Lexington, KY, turning a backyard into a multi-functional retreat perfect for entertainment and relaxation. Take a look at the highlights of this project:

Patio & Fire Pit: We installed a custom paver patio using Techo-Bloc BluHD Smooth pavers and a Unilock Copthorne border. The patio also features a built-in fire pit with a stone seat wall, ideal for gatherings.

Outdoor Fireplace: A linear gas fireplace with glass was added as the centerpiece, along with a Blaze gas grill, stainless steel cabinetry, and storage.

Entertainment Center: We framed an IPE wood wall to house a television above the fireplace, creating an outdoor entertainment space that blends style and functionality.

Comfort Features: For year-round enjoyment, we installed ceiling fans, recessed radiant heaters, and lighting to keep the area cozy during cooler months.

To tie it all together, we completed the space with low-maintenance landscaping, including Castlespire Holly and Strawberry Vanilla Hydrangeas, with accent lighting controlled by a Wi-Fi smart system.

At Boone Contracting we are committed to blending luxury, comfort, and functionality in residential spaces. Whether you're dreaming of a pool house addition, an outdoor kitchen, new or improved patio, deck, or a fire pit, our team can help make your outdoor space a relaxing and inviting space that you love. Your office should be a place where you enjoy spending time. It is where ideas are shared, clients are welcomed, and your team spends a significant portion of their day. When a space feels outdated, dim, or cramped, it can negatively impact productivity and make the workday feel more challenging than it needs to be.

Rising utility costs and seasonal temperature swings can take a toll on older structures, especially when insulation, windows, or exterior materials have not been updated over time.

When temperatures start to drop, frozen pipes can bring business to a standstill. A single pipe burst can cause thousands of dollars in damage and multiple days of lost productivity in your office space. Cold weather can test even the best maintenance plans.
